The Reff system is capable of being panel-based or freestanding, with the same components and support pieces. This design allows a high degree of flexibility with parts readily available for reconfiguration. The system's pedestals, modesty panels and end panels are structural in every case. The use of these components to create freestanding or panel-based layouts is limited by only the designer's needs. For example, the simple double pedestal desk can be configured and assembled in 60 standard sizes and orientations, using the same pedestals and end panels. Modular construction tied to Reff's range of components can easily accomodate any dimensional situation.

All Reff laminates and veneers have superior interior construction details: solid 2" thick hardwood edges in waterfall tops, solid hardwood caps and solid hardwood routed J pull drawers. All components are finished on all six sides before assembly. All work surfaces for freestanding and panel-mount-applications feature threaded metal inserts.
